We are Sandra and Fiona and have been riding our motorbike around the world for the past 6 years. Currently exploring the Middle East!

In 2018 we quit our jobs, rented out our flats and left to travel the world. Sandra is originally from Germany, moved to the UK at 16 and has been working in IT & Finance for 10 years before leaving for this adventure. Fiona is originally from Leicester (England) where she used to work as a Health & Safety Manager.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

We love the "real" spirit of Couchsurfing which is all about cultural exchange, learning from each other, sharing and connecting with locals.

When we host someone we normally offer a clean and safe place to sleep, hot shower and some coffee or breakfast. However, if you are going to eat all your meals with us then please contribute also. Couchsurfing is about sharing, not free-loading.

We are always happy to contribute and cook a meal for our host.

兴趣

We like "slow travel", off-road riding and discovering places off the beaten track. Socialising over good food and perhaps a glass of wine is our ideal evening!

We don't smoke, don't like partying and don't tend to stay up very late.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Quit our jobs, bought a motorbike in the USA and rode it all the way to South America!

We reached Colombia just as Covid put us all into lockdown. Sold the motorbike, got a new one in Europe then rode the entire West Coast of Africa down to Cape Town and up the East Coast to Nairobi. Flew the bike to Dubai and currently spending a year exploring the Middle East. Who knows what’s next 😆

We can teach you all that we know about living on the road and travelling on a budget.
