Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am just really learning that there is a CS2 project/ community. I never really knew how much there was to it before. I'd like to start paying attention to local events and go from there.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No official CSing yet. Unofficially, I've seen plenty of couches, slept on several, and hosted my friends to nights in my room. Still wary about hosting people I haven't met, plus I don't have the setup I want where that would be easily arranged. I'm hoping that will change at some point, but I still love meeting new people and sharing with them what Los Angeles has to offer.

Interests

Belly dancing. Travel. Cooking. Stand up comedy. Improv. Thrift shops. Self defense techniques. The smell of places. Learning new skills, ideas and concepts. Discovering bands and musical artists I didn't know existed before. I'm interested in staying positive and moving forward.

Music, Movies, and Books

Right now... "The Knight in Rusty Armor" by Robert Fisher. Musically just getting into Feist, Ingrid Michaelson, The National and Beirut. Movies... too many, too many. I'm looking forward to seeing Sex and Lucia.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bungee jumping off a bridge overlooking a creek was pretty big for me. Cliff diving into an unexplored River in Honduras was equally as big, yet completely unplanned and therefore refreshingly spontaneous. I didn't have time to get nervous.

Teach, Learn, Share

Ladies. Take a belly dancing class. Stick with it. Because in the end, not only will your moves translate to looking even better on the dance floor in any situation, your range of movement and expression in the bedroom will broaden. Plus, it's empowering, fun and adds beauty to a gal's life.
