ABOUT ME

I've been living in Japan for 3 years and I'm planning to move later this year or early next. Japan has been great! I love to go out ~ day trips, sightseeing, clubs, museums, live music, you name it.

PHILOSOPHY

Tell the truth. Love completely. Dance like nobody's watching. Always sing along. Never let anyone tell you different. Learn everyday. Get up early. Go to bed late. Discover the purpose. Find the words to say it. Live it. Fail. Live it again.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I've had dinner with some couch surfing friends of a friend. They were soooo great!! I'm looking forward to more encouters!

Interests

I love music of all kinds! I don't collect things, but if I were going to start, it would be musical instruments and board games from around the world. I love hearing interesting and different perspectives on the world. When I travel, I like to go to a few sites for the photo opps, but mostly I'm interested in just soaking up the vibe of a new place. I love good nightlife, boat rides, hiking, biking through town, drawing in the sand, skiing, and just taking it all in.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I experienced Kyoto on New Years Eve. It was the most peaceful completion of a year I have ever experienced. There were taiko drums, hot rice drinks, mochi and buddhist monks swinging a huge log onto an enormous bell. Talk about ringing in the new year!
