About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Teach young dog old tricks

PHILOSOPHY

i give
with these hands
with this heart
with this spirit

i am deeply grateful
for these blessings

i want to learn more
so that i may give more

Interests

i take the renaissance approach -- i follow my intuitive & logical & welcoming the serendipitous brand of broad interests ---- i do tend to favor & dwell in the upward facing approach to life in an everyday sense --- interests are making beauty, being an eclector / collector / redistributionist, being quiet in a peaceful powerful place, playing in the yard with a few trees, a bit of a garden, ponds, critters, etc., creating & sustaining a strong ohana (family) of supporting loving friends --

Music, Movies, and Books

MOVIES -- i used to be a movie junkie - now i am so satisfied to be out of the loop -- no T.V. either --
MUSIC -- mainly very exquisite Hawaii contemporay from an incredibly talented pool of local artists / friends -- also the rest of the world's music splendor ----- i work on the "genre does not matter" as long as it is beyond good & looking toward the positive
BOOKS -- just finished "Divisadero" by Michael Ondaatje - prose so vividly poetic that it stops you in your tracks with its thick thick beautiful richness -- also just read a Hawaiian Legends Book about Waipio Valley -- & finished a small very deeply comprehensive book about Noni, the local Hawaiian wonder plant --- currently reading a book of erotic short stories called "Down and Dirty", along with "1421: The Year China Discovered America" by Gavin Menzies ------ i have "The Witch Of Portobello" by Paulo Coelho waiting in line --- not a consumate reader, yet like to keep it going ---
