About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to see everything, taste every beer, laugh, have fun, never stop learning, and I think I'm growing penicillin on a loaf of bread in my kitchen.

ABOUT ME

I love to laugh, it's my absolute favorite thing in the world to do. I think it's the best feeling ever and if there ever comes a day when I can't laugh I'm going to sit down and seriously rethink my life.

I'm addicted to music. I love music. I don't think there is blood in my veins, I think my veins are full of musical notes.

I love traveling. I want to see everything. It makes me crazy that there are places on this planet of which I am unaware.

PHILOSOPHY

In the grand scheme of things it's not that big of a deal. Share your stories. Strive to make other people smile. Courtesy flush. Lather, rinse, repeat.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never couch surfed from this website, but I've left an ass groove in many a couches. I love the experience and sharing it with others.

Interests

Collecting good stories for when I'm old and crazy, teaching myself things like medical history and various types of engineering in case I ever "accidentally" travel backwards in time, learning a million languages at once (buona sera, watashi no hobākurafuto wa unagi de ippai desu!), anything involving water (except for drowning), camping, traveling, brewing beer (and other things accidentally), attempting to watch every movie and read every book, going to arcades, making up words for my amusement, public transportation with my ipod, driving with no destination, roadtrips (also known as driving with a destination), climbing on things and being unable to get back down, exploration, history, language, cultures, science, medicine, history of language/cultures/science/medicine, abandoned buildings, beer, comics and other books with pictures, books with just words, vintage and questionable medical devices, brains (as part of the nervous system and zombie treats), synaptic misfires, subconscious unawareness, embraceable vicissitudes, and social ineptitude (yours and mine).

My current goal is getting my diving certificate and doing some wreck diving.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked on an apple farm in Japan, that was pretty amazing. I also defy physics and gravity.

Teach, Learn, Share

When I sat down to think about what skills I have that I could teach others, I drew a blank and that really disappoints me. I can crochet, cook, make a camera out of a shoebox, and do marginally well in trivia. I want to learn anything I don't already know.
