ABOUT ME

I love adrenaline rushes and beautiful places. I live a very simple lifestyle and could have my happiest moments playing by the ocean or in the woods. I'm still a kid at heart. I love to skydive and collect pretty rocks and seashells. I don't have a very reliable car, so we couldn't travel very far, but I could show anyone parts of RI since it's very small. If you want to go for a skydive during the warmer weather, I know the best DZ. haha. I just got diagnosed with epilepsy in 2010 so it's been a strange thing to learn about and live with at (almost) 30. I've only had 2 grand mals, but 2 is enough for me. I'm on medication for it, but a diagnosis like that makes one feel like a ticking time bomb at times.

PHILOSOPHY

Death is certain; life is not. I've lost a few good friends in the past few years and have had to realize my own mortality. I want to live my life to the fullest and share my own life experiences before my time is up. There is so much left to learn and be discovered.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a full-size sofa that pulls out to a bed. Right now, that means that I would have to climb over or under the bed at night to get to the kitchen or bathroom while you sleep, unless I rearrange things. (Cross that bridge when I come to it..). Also, I have a 23lb cat named Damian. He's a beast.. and he'll probably want to sleep with you... (cuddles)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been a member for several years with the intention of couch surfing in Europe. Since then, I have grown up and taken on responsibilities of my own and have not been able to afford it. I'm still open to the possibility of being a CS host to the right person. I have already hosted a friend I met online and his friend from Belgium, just not through the CS project.

I'm very eclectic. I like everything from Neil Young to Lamb of God to Beethoven. I have played quite a few instruments growing up(clarinet, piano, flute, guitar) so I've had many different musical influences.

I could teach you how to administer FirstClass email or build a website or a computer? or How to avoid speed traps and pot holes in Rhode Island. I would like to learn how to be happy being me, not matter what the circumstance. RI is full of people from your past; good and bad. I want to keep the smile on and stay positive, no matter what is happening and I want to meet more positive people with that in mind.
