ABOUT ME

Basically, I retired at the age of 50, drove everybody crazy with my anal ways within 2 years AND then ran away from home at the age of 52. I came to the realization that I did not own anything ... it all owned me!

Starting March 1, 2014, I became as FREE as I will ever be to drive my pARTy Van "Flo" around North America or put on my pARTy Backpack to pARTy around the world.

I do not really plan things much anymore, I kinda let the pARTy Gods guide me. I used to plan 6 months in advance, but today, I am a 20-minute man ... call me and say "see you in 20 minutes", and I am ready to go!

I am especially fond of leaving my comfort zone and "doing things I don't want to do" ... always turns out to be a fun memory! "Comfortable is the Enemy of Opportunity!" says "Run-A-Way Bill”.

PHILOSOPHY

#1 ... "We Don't Own Stuff, Stuff Owns Us" ... "LESS IS BEST" ... the less items you have in your life, the more freedom you have. "DON'T BUY THINGS, BUY FREEDOM!"
#2 ... "Accept People For Who They Are, Or Move On" ... you can't change people so accept them and their ways & if you can't, then it is time for you to move on. People are not wrong because you don't agree with their ways, so don't judge them until you can walk in their shoes.

PEOPLE ... growing up as a nerd, I was pretty much a loner. I really enjoy meeting people. I use the TMI approach though (Too Much Information). I want to know a little about a lot of people and not really too much about anyone. I focus on events throughout my travels, but have concluded it's not about the event, it's about the people who attend that make the event. I focus on meeting the people who like to smile. The secret to a long life is "Avoid Mean People" and even though I don't judge them, I don't want to hang with them.

My daughters Stacy and Heather are my greatest successes in life. Next to them "living" as “Run-A-Way Bill” has been the most enlightening. Going to events and meeting fellow pARTy Pals is quite amazing!

My yearly USA road trips lasting from 2 to 8 months are a pARTy-riffic way for me to enjoy my life. I don't look for anything, but I do "give whatever is out there the opportunity to find me!"

I will share "Local Favorite" spots, whether it be for a pARTy Spot or Favorite Food Spots. There are plenty of food and pARTy Beverage deals, if you know where to find them.

I can also recommend where NOT to go ... maybe too expensive or unfriendly servers/customers.
