ABOUT ME

Name pronunciation: Joe-HAH-nah. Lots of people say Joe-HYAH-nuh. This isn't right. The 'a's sound the same, the second syllable is supposed to sound like a chuckle; you know, hahaha. Good luck!

Unfortunately at this time I can not host anyone overnight, but my house has two other Couchsurfers in it that are more than likely willing to have you! However, if I can make time around my ridiculous work schedule, I would love to meet up for a cup of coffee or a race around the block!

I'm just eighteen, but I've been sharing a couchsurfng profile with my mom (Katie Kreitzer) for many years now, and am pretty darn experienced as both a surfer and a host. I still live with my mom and our roommate Franz (Special Forces) until I can get a good job and find a big enough place to move into myself. I have a hedgehog named Norb (like Norbert the Norwegian Ridgeback) but he's a very crabby and unsocial boy. He's not very curious or a cuddler, so he's not so fun to play with. I'm currently in Bartending school, and in a year I'll go to college for a degree in Phlebotomy. In the very long run, though, I would really want to be an anesthesiologist.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm not one to have a personal philosophy, but I guess the closest thing I can say would be to "Live the life you want, do everything you like, and if you're going to die, die in a fun way."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I go to as many couchsurfing events in Minneapolis as I can, and at our house (S'Amuse) we host many themed parties, pictures of which are always entertaining, if not the least bit confusing. To celebrate my official entrance into the CS world as my own profile, I had a debutante ball ending in a major food fight. That's just one example of the shenanigans we Minneapolis Couchsurfers get into on a regular basis. I try and participate in every event possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a ton at S'Amuse (our house's name) and have surfed in Chicago, Memphis, Nashville, Des Moines and St Louis. I hope to surf all around the world before I get old.
