ABOUT Carlos
Hey fellow couchsurfers! My name is Carlos and I'm a 25 year young entrepreneur that loves whole foods and craft beer. I was born in Mexico and i'm fluent in Spanish. I've lived in California for most of my life and I really, really like it here. I love traveling locally in California as well as abroad in the States( I've been to Oregon, Washington, Chicago, Nevada). I've been to Mexico many times to visit family and to explore new places and I absolutely love it there(specifically I really like the outskirts of large cities as well as beach cities)

I plan on traveling with my best friend Sam to Europe during the first 15 days of July 2016.

About SAM
Greetings, travelers! I am a young guitar player/Business student who recently started to travel abroad. I spend most of my time focusing on school but on my free time I like to go backpacking, fishing, rafting and pretty much anything else that has to do with mother nature.

I plan on going to Lviv, Ukraine to help out an orphanage on the 17th of June 2016 and staying until the 30th. After Ukraine i'm flying out to meeting up with Carlos in Amsterdam on the 1st of July.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love that this website exists. I think couchsurfing is one of the best ways to travel because you get to experience what it is really like to live like a local, share stories and make friends

I made this account many years ago when I had a large couch that was surf-able but ever since I moved and started a business I was no longer able to accommodate guests or do any kind of travel.

I will be changing that this year with my best friend Sam as we make friends traveling across Europe.

Interests

Long-boarding, cooking, exploring new hiking trails, meeting new people.

I like meeting and talking to business owners and talking about things we have learned along our journey.

I really love podcasts and listening to audiobooks(These two things are my new obsession).

Recently I got into flying quad copters and I find it very entertaining.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music interests bounce all over the place. I'm currently into acoustical, ambient, relaxing music. Pandora has helped me explore new artists and I absolutely love it.

I don't watch to much tv or movies these days as I spend as the majority of my free time with friends and family but I really enjoy documentaries because they are entertaining and educational.

Books that currently strike my interest are mostly non-fiction and about self development, health and business.
I like anything written by Brian Tracy and Eckhart Tolle.

I went paragliding with my mom in a beautiful/small town in Mexico.
