Luv me some Gorillaz, Flaming Lips, TV on the Radio, David Bowie Outkast, Alice Cooper, King Tuff, James Brown, M.I.A., Julieta Venegas, the White Stripes, Gypsy music, Latin music, Brazilian Bossa Nova and Tropicalia, most everything is good for the ears.

The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou is my fave, love all of Wes Anderson's films.
Shitty B horror movies, kung fu/martial arts stuff, anything by Akira Kurosawa, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Lost in Translation, Midnight in Paris, quirky stuff.

I love to try and learn new languages, get a glimpse into another's culture, and hear good traveler's tales. Seeing a city though a local's eyes is great, as is getting excited about where I live by watching how much fun a visitor has seeing what I may take for granted.
