ABOUT ME
I'm a laid back individual. I enjoy being with other people, but being alone is important to me as well. I'm very independent, and I'm driven to learn. Sometimes it feels like my life is one of nonstop study. I enjoy listening to and playing music, reading and writing, among other things. I like to watch the odd movie, but I got rid of my TV years ago. Life's an adventure, and I feel lucky to be a position to live overseas, learn foreign cultures, and travel.
PHILOSOPHY
More love, less politics.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have been a CS member for years, but I have barely participated. I would like to change that.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Here in Niagara, I have attended the odd local CS gathering, partied with some CS'rs and gone on some nice hikes.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
Music: I like lots. Zeppelin was my first love. I've branched out in every direction from there. There are a lot of great Canadian artists: Black Mountain, Sheepdogs, Sarah Harmer, Cowboys Fringants, etc.
Books: Again, lots. I'm reading the autobiography of Gandhi right now.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I got to watch three pods of migrating orcas off Brook's Point, Pender Island BC, with my cousin.
Teach, Learn, Share
My interest in couch surfing is renewed because I want to learn about the world from other people. For me, traveling is a privilege. I might only have one more big trip in my life. I need to know where to go.
