ABOUT ME
Dorie is originally from Hawaii - moved to Texas in 2004 after returning to the U.S. from a 7 year stay in Japan.
Marcel is originally from Lahr, Germany - moved to Texas in 1989 to open a restaurant on the coast.
We both are passionate about all things food related - especially traditional food preparation practices of the past. We are organic gardeners, and we dream of homesteading full-time once the economy allows us to retire.
We are currently in the process of combining households, so we may not be fully participating in this community until January or February of 2012.
