ABOUT ME

I'm a lawyer who hates wearing suits. I love being outdoors and just mucking around with mates, preferably on a boat, but at a beach or in the park will do. I'll give almost anything a go (sometimes only once :) I like to think I'm fairly laid back in my approach to life and don't get too stressed about anything. Just chill and enjoy life. It's far too short to worry.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't think Immanuel Kant was doing too badly with his theory: Act in such a way that you treat humanity, whether in your own person or in the person of any other, always at the same time as an end and never simply as a means. Respect people and their opinions for who and what they are and don't discriminate just because you don't understand.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Went to a Fijian village last year (2006) and donated a bundle of stationery, pens, pencils, paints etc to the school in the village. Seeing what extremely limited resources they had (using pine cones as paintbrushes, chalk boards but no chalk, that kind of thing) and the looks on their faces when they opened the boxes and saw what was in them would have to be the most rewarding thing I've done so far.
