About Me

CURRENT MISSION

hahahahahahahaha

ABOUT ME

I am a nice : ) energic 23 years old french girl.I like to make the most of my time in the places I am staying in: discovering the city's cultural life, going to exhibitions, have a look around.I love chating, hanging out, learning things from people, sharing experiences but need sometimes to be on my own too, to work and think : )Indeed, I study fine arts (in paris normaly) : consequently I have 2-3-days zombie drawing sessions sometimes and I work a lot at school in sculpture and metal working studios.I am interested in almost everything, among which we can count music, movies, litterature, fine arts (of course) but also science and foreign languages.Love snow, snowboarding and great landscapes : ), being alone in nature or with other people and feel free, playing games and singing around the fireplaceI am quite well organized and like living in a tidy (not spick and span though) and cleaned environnement.I have satyed in Boston for almost six months now and before going back to my little country, I am travelling around the US, working on my thesis: it is about the artist HC Westermann that I discovered and find fascinating!I am looking forward to begin it to get to see his pieces in the country's different museums and collections, and, plus, to do the trip he did, from Connecticut to California!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is a strange thing: with its breath it also brings millions of questions.
I want to answer to them or at least try, that's why I am creating objects, drawings and mostly why I want and need to travel, meet people and share to find answers thanks to experiences and to keep revealing questions.
I need sometimes to feel that I am a human on/in earth, and feel the very rare roots which still connect us with our nice planet (I could sound completely hippie or whatever, saying that but it is a feeling I recently experienced and I felt just FREE in that moment)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travel
I still live at my parents but when I have my own home I 'll host surely.
Waiting for that time, i m happy to take people with me in Paris.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Washington, Chicago and Kansas City, always with interesting and nice people : 2-3 days that make worlds connect together and lead to striking encounters to be remembered of.

Interests

so many but the things I really take time for are (because time is always missing...): fine arts (drawing, sculpting, exhibitions...), movies, litterature, ancient civilizations, local crafts, materials as metal, clay, wood and stone, studying the link between american and european modern and contemporary arts, going on holiday camps with children as a leader: build pedagogic project with other leaders who are friends of mine, live with the same people for some days, try to achieve something together...

Music, Movies, and Books

fleet foxes is the group I listen at the moment, with animal collective and vampire week end, but my basics are more like the doors, the velvet underground, the clash, air, johnny cash. Also, devandra banhart, morcheeba, beirut...
The film directors I adore are : Andrei Tarkovski and Ingmar Bergman.
This year I have been reading a lot Charles Bukowski and Blaise Cendrars, but I also discovered Faulkner which really stunned me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can't say: lots of great moments come to me when I try to answer the question but it is a succession of great landscapes (Jordania, greece, mountains and countryside in France, Oceans, Lebanon, Romania, New-York...) with always the same feeling of freedom and grace which comes behind my eyes, Those moments were amazing to me because they were particular one...
