About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy life! I lived and traveled all over the U.S. I decided it was time to see more, so I moved to Romania. I love to travel and meet new people, eat new foods, hear new music.

ABOUT ME

All about me? I'd rather hear more about everyone else.

PHILOSOPHY

Carpe Diem!
That which does not kills us makes us stronger.
All bright and beautiful, All creatures great and small, All things wise and wonderful, The good Lord made them all.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm happy to help you have a GREAT time in Romania. Don't be put off by the stories of "there's nothing to see in Romania" because this is a hidden gem. Lots of undiscovered villages with Medieval histories, Greek and Roman ruins and many visible memories of 40 years under Communist rule. I've seen most of the country and I live in Bucharest, so do get in touch - ask questions, be assured that it's a VERY safe country, and an easy country to travel since most everyone speaks English (or French, Spanish, Italian, German...). And don't forget - Romanian is a Romance language, closest to Latin. ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm a couch surfing virgin... well, okay, I've stayed with friends and I was couch surfing before it had a term. The most fun I had was with friends of friends in the UK when I stayed with the nanny for the Twinnings tea family, and with a bunch of Kiwis who did the Haka in the middle of the road in London at 3am.

Interests

Music, music, music. I read a lot, enjoy cooking for friends (but someone else needs to do the dishes), love movies, and my cats. Yes, cats. If you're allergic or not a cat fan, then best we just meet for a coffee.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach, Learn, Share

You can learn a lot from children. Did you ever notice they always want to share their lunches? Next time you see someone begging, share your lunch, not your change.
You can also learn a lot from animals. They love unconditionally.
