Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC = I can find something to like in almost any musical genre. I like old time country and bluegrass, classic rock, blues, jazz, indy, classical, etc. My tastes change depending on how I'm feeling. It would be impossible to list everything I like, but the list is long and always changing. Music is one of those nice perks that make life worth living.

MOVIES = Too many to list. A few movies I enjoyed off the top of my head were Donnie Darko, Eternal Sunshine, and V For Vendetta. There are a lot of older films I like as well. I like a mindless flick once in a while, but I prefer films with a unique character that give me something to think about. When I watch a movie, I would rather have an experience instead of just killing a couple hours. On the other hand I love B movies, horror movies, and films that are so bad they’re good. Also, a good documentary will always draw my attention. If I had to pick a favorite, I'd probably go with Rushmore (for now).

BOOKS = Almost exclusively nonfiction. I read a lot of history and geography literature as well as a biography here and there.
