ABOUT ME

I love exploring the world and new meeting people, learning something about them and myself every time. I am outgoing when I meet people, but I can also be rather quiet and lose myself in daydreams.
When it comes to travelling, I'm interested in any region, but admittedly, a piece of my heart is lost somewhere in Latin America. I'm a fan of salsa, tango, Italian food and sushi, sunny days and outdoor activities.
And I'm kind of famous for my hicups. You'll know what I'm talking about when it happens.

Travelling of course, taking pictures and creating memories.

Doing sports is important for me to stay in balance, although I'm not the kind of person that always needs to explore the limit. What really makes me happy is dancing (with a nice crowd, being outdoors and lying in the sun for hours, eating strawberries and reading a good book. I guess I can be quite a lazy cat.

Books: Anna Gavalda "Hunting and Gathering" (Ensemble, c'est tout), Carlos Ruiz Zafon "Shadow of the Wind", "A thousand splendid suns"or Alfred Andersch "Sansibar oder der letzte Grund". And I love the Pepe Carvalho series by Manuel Vazquez Montalbán.

Movies: Amélie, The Sixth Sense, Pan's Labyrinth, all kinds of Almodóvar movies, Full Metall Village, Breakfast at Tiffany's, El hijo de la novia, Stranger than Fiction, Memento, Ocean's 11 etc ...ok, and here it is: My all time favourite is Dirty Dancing.

Music: Loads of different stuff. Some alltime favourites are Zaz, the Eels, Manà, Nouvelle Vague, Jamie Cullum, Dave Matthews Band, Piazolla

Hm... what I can teach you? I could definitely show you some salsa or tango steps. I am willing to share my favourite Frankfurter Bethmännchen recipe (only around christmas time!). And I can whistle on 4 fingers. Like... loud!!
