To work at what I love. To find joy and peace in everyday. To learn something new . To travel more.
I like substantial shoes. There is an ever changing soundtrack to my life. I eat chocolate everyday. I can sing. I am blessed. I see beauty and good in everyone. I am strong. My mind races. I avoid confrontation. Lately, I feel more attractive than I actually am. I am confused by short sleeved sweaters. I am accused of being a hoarder but vindicated regularly by what I can produce. I depend on spell check. I am an excellent driver and a strong swimmer. If I could be any animal it would be a Bonobo. I like to collect vintage textiles and ephemera along with other things. I have a bionic nose and ears. I like to feed people. I wish that I didn't have to sleep. I don't think that tent camping is fun. I have a mild crush on my mailman. Spiders freak me out. I like to attend county fairs. I don't run. I like High School musicals. I am often too hot. I like to dig. I am not organized but know where everything is. I wear an apron almost everyday. Lima beans make me gag. I love day trips. I should have more respect for money. I like crooked teeth. (not Billy Bob more Jewel....back when she was living in her car) I struggle with motion sickness. I believe in a Birthday candle for every year. I am definitely an enabler. I am a cat whisperer. I could live without a TV. I need my "alone time". Nature restores me.
I have been driving a school bus for 29 years. I love the job but it really interferes with my life. I own and operate a very cool Antique shop that is in walking distance to my home and in a unique historical uptown area. I am a power seller on Ebay and do some Photography on the side. I am a craft and vacation junkie. My friends like me because I am honest, down to earth, positive, non judgmental, dependable, creative and I throw a nice dinner party.
Be true to yourself. It is what it is.

I took a European tour in March 2012 to celebrate spending 50 years on this earth. I met with a CS person in Paris and we went to the Eiffel tower and had dinner. In Paris, I slept on the couch of a kind man who is a nurse and a fashion designer. In London I attended a CS Pub Crawl and met people from Australia, India, Ireland and more. In Amsterdam a CS invited me to dinner and we hung out in her kitchen and then walked to a Jazz Club. I have hosted.
I like cooking , baking and gardening. I enjoy yoga, walking and bike riding, I require regular doses of nature. I like to study local history. I like to lose myself in Antique and thrift stores. I enjoy going out and talking over a good meal. . I would be lost without music and art. I love cold weather and winter. I believe in God and Salvation along with the power of prayer. I am accepting of all people as long as they are being themselves. Honesty is an important characteristic to me. I can put on a great party with attention to details.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well, I have been with the same man for over 30 years and my friends, who know him, would tell you (in a loving way) that this is an amazing thing. Opening and operating my own shop has been pretty amazing and a pure privilege.
Amazing things that I have seen....
The Sunset yesterday.
The full moon a couple of days ago.
The way the clouds looked like mountains in the distance on Sunday.
Teach, Learn, Share
I learn something new everyday and am always willing to share. I am a creative cook and would love to cook with or for you. I am a crafting junky. I could teach you how to crochet. I could show you how to make a prize winning Dutch Apple Pie.
