Music, Movies, and Books

Music for me is symbolic, it has to remember me some events or special feelings... (Carla Bruni, Tori Amos, Moby, Rufus Mainwright, Macaco, The gift, Feist, Manu Chao, Yael Naim, Savage Garden, Rita Mitsuko, Cesaria Evora, Edith Piaf, Tryo, Adele, Franz Ferdinand, The gift). I don't like rap and heavy metal.

My 3 prefered books are still the trilogy of Agotha Kristof (Le grand cahier, La preuve and Le troisième mensonge). I also loved the famous "La sombra del viento" de Carlos Luis Zafon and the Kaboul's kytes. In terms of politics and economics, I liked to read Amin Maalouf and David Landes...

I love movies (everything except horror movies). I prefer movies from abroad (not Hollywood ones!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

... Good question! I don't know if it is the most incredible thing that I had seen, but there is one thing I especially remember and appreciate :

My friends and I were in the mountains of Oaxaca, in Mexico. We stopped by a restaurant, an NGO's project. They were growing fish and cooking it. A very good idea. We ordered a lot of fish and mezcal (an alcool near the tequila). We paid and when we wanted to ask more drinks, everyone had left. So we found and drank the bottle, put it back to its place with money and a goog tip under. An other world...

Teach, Learn, Share

Always bring the direction where you are staying at... a cellphone number is not enought : sometimes they don't work!
