ABOUT ME

I'm a very social person. Binghamton is a great area, there is always something happening. I'm very involved in the local music/dance/art scene, and I work for the local government in a health/housing field. I love to meet people and learn new things, so Couchsurfing is a great fit!

PHILOSOPHY

Learn and experience as much as possible, while working to make life better for others in whatever little way I can.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I work full-time, so time and funds are limited, but I'd like to make myself available to meet short-term travelers when possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am relatively new to Couchsurfing... I have only "surfed" through this site once, but have had some very positive experiences while backpacking through Europe, traveling up and down the West Coast of the United States, and traveling for concerts and festivals over the years.

Electronic music, jazz, dance of any kind, modern art, science, public health/epidemiology, good books, the outdoors, mountains, and of course traveling.

I climbed Half Dome in Yosemite National Park as a lightning storm was blowing in (oops) and lived to tell the tale!
