I'm doing a PhD on resurrecting mammoths from the dead in Siberia and honestly I'm worried that's much more interesting than I actually am.

Nonetheless, I can string a sentence together and am happy to do so over a delicious meal or a glass of something alcoholic so I guess that's what you might call good company.

I enjoy travelling, hiking, singing, reading, music, politics...the usual.

Music - okkervil river, shearwater, the decemberists, mountain goats etc
I also love opera and choral music.

Books - pretentious russian literature and poetry.

I have watched the sun set over a cornfield on the back of a tractor in Slovenia and have watched the sun rise whilst dancing at an illegal party in the mountains of Hungary and a hell of a lot in between.
