Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The first time I used couch surfing my hope for humanity was reinstated (of course this was before Air bnb!!) Trust, generosity, connection and local knowledge
It’s recharging to offer our place to people that have the lust for travel and we love to be hosted by generous people who understand what a privilege it is to share their neighbourhood and home with adventurous travellers.

Interests

We love to travel together. By train, by bicycle, by motor home or by foot we love to be out in the world exploring.
We love sharing delicious food with friends, old or new.
We love markets - market halls, vintage/flea markets, bio markets etc

We love music and a spontaneous dance. Our tastes are as eclectic as a community radio station.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Together we have shared a sunrise at Kata Tjuka at sunrise, snorkelled the Great Barrier Reef and motor homes around Scotland to name more than one amazing spot thing we have done….!!

What I Can Share with Hosts

With a balance of one introvert and one extrovert we are engaging and considerate guests. Good for a laugh or pleasant silence, we know how to read a room and adjust our energy levels accordingly.
We are very well housetrained guests who share generously what we have and gratefully appreciate what we might receive.
Language exchange of English, Spanish or German is on offer. Even formal English lessons are a possibility.
We can share our love of good food, good conversation and a spark for life that is infectious.
