ABOUT ME

A weary traveler as are most on this site. My job keeps me on my toes most of the time now...I am an archaeologist who is now hubbed out of NYC. I don't get to spend to much time in any one place, so I try to make the most out of that time when I am there.

PHILOSOPHY

I am an existentialist at heart. The world is so complex and beautiful, it is up to us who have the ability to decide our role in this world. I am still developing my role...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only used couchsurfing briefly, but it has been wonderful in its experience. I do not plan on traveling anywhere else in the world with out attempting to use it first.

Culture, Archaeology, Travel, Languages, Music, Beer (Good Beer, especially good German Beer), In-depth Conversations, Challenges, Chess (Chinese or International), Philosophy, various Anthropological pursuits, Roma Society, Effects of multinational corporations on indigenous peoples...getting in UNESCO or another like-minded NGO. Backpacking as long as the words resort, spa, or attraction are not involved (not my phrasing, stole it from a good friend), Hiking, Camping, Climbing sacred Chinese mountains, Thinking, Learning, Applying my degree, Bettering myself, Road Trips, avoiding fights in Chinese bars. I also fall pray to all sorts of rural Kansas-born activities, such as hiking, camping, mountain climbing, storm chasing and the like....(oh, remove I should mountain climbing from the list of KANSAS-born activities)
