ABOUT ME

Hello! I am a post-college, 24 year old girl from the Midwest who is trying to see a bit of the world before she has to buckle down and go back to school! I knew there was so much more to the world than what I had seen growing up in Iowa (although it is also a lovely place as well) and I just felt the urge to get out and see it! I am currently working as an aupair for a family in Sant Andreu de Llavaneres, Spain which is about 20-30 minutes outside of Barcelona. I will be living with them from June through October and would love to meet some people my age in the area! I love to experience new things and people so really I am usually up for anything. I love to go out, dance, sightsee, and talk over good meals and good drinks. I am easy to get along with and easy to please.

PHILOSOPHY

I love to enrich my life by surrounding myself with kind, altruistic, and interesting individuals. I have amazing friends in my life and I hope to only make more!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Because I am living with a family right now I cannot offer their couch to anyone. But once I return home I do plan to have a couch located in some US city, and when I do I will gladly offer it to fellow travelers. For right now, I would be willing to meet with people living in the area that would like to improve their English. We could meet for coffee or a drink every so often and practice. Hopefully I would learn a little Spanish or Catalan in return. Or for people that are traveling through Spain and would like to go out in Barcelona or see a bit of the city, I would definitely be willing to show them the little bit of the city that I know so far.

music - i really love so many kinds. Right now I am listening to a lot of The Fratellis, Lily Allen, Damien Rice, and some local bands from Iowa.
