to be able to survive for one year from the contents of my backpack and to document that year in poetry, sketch, video, photography and memory.

ABOUT ME

sad but true; i've never been out of my country.

This is a tricky thing that I avoid. Summing myself up in boxes, that is. I am currently working hard and discollecting my worldly items so as to have as few as possible when I embark on my travels around the world. I imagine I will get to depart shortly after my 25th birthday. I am wildly fun and somewhat difficult, but only if you don't get what I'm after.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life because apx 24 and 1 half years ago I woke up crying in the arms of a child, somewhere just beyond the middle of nowhere. I had to make it somewhere, so I chose here and now, I imagine that will change to some other place.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

well, it's done more for me to this point. I met a girl named Hana through a friend who met her through couchsurfing. I had Hana over a night or two, but my friend puts people up regularly and they always become friends, so i figured i'd sign up.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was kinda homeless toward the end of my stint in NYC, I pretty much caught every sofa like wave i could find, even a few loveseats and floorboards. I loved every minute of it. I even slept on a few roof tops. I met a slew of amazing people in inspired places and took with me the peace of knowing kindness exists in even the harshest of places.

Interests

i like shiney things, green things, fruity things, things with wheels, things with bells, things without sharp things.

I like building cardboard robots in the park and sock puppets in the middle of town. I like naturally occuring theatre and rock concerts. I like flashmobs.

I like to write and speak and sometimes i like to sing.

I am always dancing and I often make funny faces.

I like people, watching them interests me deeply.
