ABOUT ME

I graduated from Concordia University in May of 2007, in the first class of the School of Nursing, and now I get to see miracles happen every day as a labor and delivery nurse. I bought a house a couple years ago and live by myself with my kitten, Charlie, whom I adore! Some of my greatest adventures, so far, have been skydiving and traveling around the world. I am excited for the experiences yet to come! I am lucky to have amazing people in my life who influence, inspire, and support me; without them I would not be who or where I am today. I love life!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did some couch surfing while traveling through Europe. It was amazing and really enhanced my experience.

I have been a vegetarian for about 15 years. I am also interested in swimming, singing, hanging out with friends/meeting people, dancing (e.g. salsa, ballet, hiphop) languages (especially Spanish and Sign Language), politics, sewing, kids, scuba diving, working out, reading, roadtrips, food, playing the piano, cooking/baking, camping, mint chocolate chip ice cream, and of course, nursing!

Fast Food Nation, anything by Maya Angelou or Dan Brown, Harry Potter, tons of others. As embarrassing as this is to admit, I actually read physiology and nutrition text books for fun cause that stuff is so damn interesting to me! What a geek. I like most movies and most music.

I spent two months backpacking through Europe. Before that, I spent a month in Mexico and loved the people and culture! Some of my most exciting experiences have been skydiving and catching babies!
