CURRENT MISSION

I find that my world missions change from time to time, but in recent months I have been (unsuccessfully) trying to become taller, create a much needed 27th letter for our outdated alphabet and discover Luxembourg to cement my place in history

ABOUT ME

Seventeen years ago I fled the security of my parent's happily odd suburban home to forge a new and uniquely individual path. I've been kind of annoyed by that decision ever since. To combat the unwanted approach of maturity and responsibility I have armed myself with a love of travel, a relaxed and easy-going manner, a truly weird girlfriend and a dark yet sarcastic personality that can still squeal in delight at the sight of a dog with it's head poking out of the window of a moving car.
I have an irrational love of bags and packing and I own more hats than I do shoes.
I also have very nice hair.

PHILOSOPHY

I love this life in all it's beauty and banality: I'm fascinated by the mundane and the magnificent and while it may all quite often annoy me, I'll always shake my head in bemusement rather than my fists in anger.

I've been helped by a lot of people in my journeys, both locals and travellers. I know what it feels like to be made welcome by people that you want to trust and to enjoy their hospitality. Time for a bit of payback, I reckon.

Interests

Oscar Wilde once said: "Try everything in life once, except for Incest and Morris-Dancing". I would add:
Spinal Surgery, Dutch Food and Drunken Oral Sex from girls with suspiciously large Adam's Apples.
I DO love Diving, Photography, Reading, Chess, Debate, the healthy glow you get whilst Drunk, Snoozing, Lego and watching recently tranquilised animals try to get up.

Music, Movies, and Books

The music collection of myself and my sweet ho' has been almost universally decried as "criminal", I'll read almost any book whose hero is NOT a steel worker or a cat and I'll watch almost any non martial arts movie that doesn't have Julia Roberts' brother in it. Or any of the cast of Friends.
I also strongly disapprove of Rap songs that include the phrase: "sweet ho'".
Damn.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've just reviewed my original entry and have decided to delete it on the grounds that everyone will hate me.
However, I have abused some naughty substances aboard a Royal Navy Aircraft Carrier, tried to extort money from a pop star on an M.T.V. phone-in and am one of the few people in the world alert to the myth of the "Giant Panda".
