ABOUT ME

I was born in London but am studying in Newcastle at the moment (spend most of my time here!)

I have a weird fascination with Denmark! I feel like I'm at home when I'm surrounded by Spanish people.

I adore reading (especially literature, but generally I'll read anything!) listening to all sorts of music, especially old foreign music, watching bizarre films at stupid o'clock, travelling anywhere at all, any chance at all!

I love travel on long-distance, short-distance, mid-distance, tube, metro and Hershey rail trains; travels around the dark paths of Cuba in the nightime when no-one else is awake and Chopin is playing on my old walkman; being sold tickets to a high-class air-conditioned coach that ends up with travel in chickenbuses, murky pools of water up to the ankles and being squashed between friendly Mayans and lovely Portugese graduates on the beautiful old school buses in Guatemala.

I love socialising and art galleries, the smell of old books and vintage clothing. It makes me happy when people mistake my nationality, think I'm a local in a foreign country, show random acts of kindness, share my interests and quote from Flight of the Conchords.

I will listen to anything bar One Night Only! Action movies make me sad and horror movies leave me with my knees in front of my face!

I also like/love/worship the Flight of the Conchords, Arrested Development, Peep Show and recently the Mighty Boosh (in that order)
