Learning, embracing every day and making a change while doing so
A typical Gemini (as my friends say) I have two sides:
I am very outgoing and passionate, love interacting and sharing with people, organizing events (culture, music, sustainability), travelling and living intensly
I as well a thinker, love reading and theorizing and try to include different perspectives in my views.
Come and meet both!
I enjoy travelling and to welcome the world in my home. There is always something new to learn! So I try to be open for everything...
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Back in 2007 Couchsurfing opened the world like a book for me... and brought it in my living room through surfers. After a less active time I am ready and back now.
Music and culture, festivals, reading, starting sustainable new things (swap.lab Nairobi for clothing swap, Disco Soup to fight food waste) and organize events with friends. Travelling. Partying. Running.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Throwing a Kenyan Christmas party for staff, colleagues, kids and friends, including slaughtering a goat and sharing and chatting for hours.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love living in Nairobi and invite you on my journeys through the city - daytime and nighttime. I can travel around with you and take you to nice concerts and cultural events.
When hosting me I am glad to roll with you. I can show you how to build some up cycled furniture, cook a meal or share travel tips and stories.
