To meet people from all over the world and learn about their countries as well as tell them about Austria.
I am a very active and positive person that loves to hike, ski, travel and listen to all sorts of music (paolo nutini, jack johnson, james blunt, travis, grönemeyer, richard ashcroft...
I am a very open minded person that respects the opinions of others....but come and you can make up your mind..
Last not least:I am a single mother of 4.
I think all people in this world are basically good and through traveling this philosophy is realized. To respect all peoples of this world and try to live the Golden Rule (treat others as you would want to be treated).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I welcome Couchsurfers since 2008. Hosted a lot of guests before I had my first CS experiance as guest in Paris in july 2008 and it wa GREAT to meet local people and take part in their lives.
I enjoy having CSer in my house, show them around (even to show them the places where "sound of music" was filmed) when my time permits.
I like to invite them to "Wiener Schnitzel" or other typical austrian food, sit around our big table (picture) and hear them talking about their country ....
Participating in outdoor activities (especially in winter) like snowboarding, swimming, hiking...
I love to travel with my kids or sometimes alone.
I like to see different cultures, foreign towns, love to see theaters, operas, musicals or other performences.
The reason: I live in a awesome area in a small village. Towns are a good combination and totally different to my usual life.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love to read. I love to listen to music. (paolo nutini, jack johnson, travis, cold play, housemartins, lighthousefamily, mando diao, norah jones....
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lake Fuschl early in the morning....and
have a swim in the Lake Fuschl while it`s raining...
Teach, Learn, Share
First: I love to hear my kids talking in a foreign language. Second: what a nice way to teach te kids that all men are equal. There is no need for prejustice.
Third: the world is coming right into our livingroom.
WHat a nice way to teach and learn at the same time.
And last but nor least: why not open the house. First step to a better world...
