ABOUT ME

We are a family building a house of cob, in the beautiful blue mountains . At the moment our family consists of Christabel (mum), two teens who are here half the week, and a five and three year old who are also here half the week. Also two pet rats . We have no running water or electricity. So it's basically glorified camping. But we do have a cosy caravan and a cosy studio to sleep in, and good food, and campfires, and trees.

We appreciate people who have a sense of communality, helping out when help is needed and chipping in with chores etc

We don't have a *lot* of private space, we are currently pretty rustic. You may need to imagine yourself as an adventurer to stay here since we don't have a shower (however can arrange for one if really needed)
We generally go to bed early and wake up early, so probably won't be staying up for into the night chats.

BECAUSE WE HAVE CHILDREN, AS AN EXTRA SAFETY MEASURE, WE DO NOT ACCEPT ANY COUCH REQUESTS FROM PEOPLE WITH NO REFERENCES. unless you send me a long message about yourself and why you think we would get along and I can tell you are genuine ;)

We have an ethos of natural learning. Living is learning, sharing, and experience, all in one! So it follows that if we share our home and lives with others for a time, there will automatically be learning and sharing all round!
