ABOUT ME

I have encompassed alot of what South Africa has to offer- or more specifically Kwa Zulu Natal. from the rolling hills of the Midlands and the high Peaks of the Drakensberg to the awesome coastal surf belt of the Indian Ocean that surrounds this fantastic East Coast of ours. I love the Outdoors- and spend a heap of time out there in it- I could possibly enjoy most things out doors, but what caught my attention was our immence drainage system yielding awesome whitewater- hence my involvement with Raft Guiding, where I Spent alot of my time enjoying the company of tourists and taking them on adventures of a lifetime! Away from work you would find me, most often- I became quite addicted to the easiness of the beach, I spent most days freestyle kayaking and mastering my moves on the Indian waves. This lifestyle has taught me many things and added to my personality of being tremendously easy going and on the ball all the time. I think the easiest way to describe personality is through the eyes of someone else- my brother always was so irritated at my rash decisions and constant flow of activity and spontaneousness. I need alot of people around me-. But contained when a sniff of the beach is far away and I know that there definitely won't be any paddling.

PHILOSOPHY

Live with the cards you were dealt- and play the game- if you win, hey!"well big ups to that!"- if you loose, well at least I enjoyed being in the circle of card players. I try and boy is it hard, to live as close to the greatest man who ever lived- the rough grain eating desert man Jesus Christ. A man amoungst men....

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

not much- still new- and love the concept!- But when I travelled the USA I shared a flat with 2 Mexicans who battled to utter a word in English- Most times we were like ships in the night- always working trying to make the American dream.

Freestyle Kayaking, All sports-If I dont know it teach me and i will learn it, guitar, reading, poetry, film making, crafts- esp leather work- just finished making my pair of shoes!

Surfed a 10 foot wave in my kayak= and got dumped so badly!

England is such a cool country- I could live off the land and never have to work again- rabbits running around, stupid pheasants that you can practically scoop up for dinner, lovely orchards with plums and apples and nut trees everywhere!
THe other day I made fried apples= peel the apples and cut into strips fry in butter and wolla! I enjoy mixing it with raw oat meal... really delicious!
