We have surfed many a couch and couched many a surfer, but not through this site. Most of our experience comes from the DIY punk, anarchist, and activist circles.

Always reading: Permaculture: A Designers Manual, mushrooms demystified, forest plants of the southeast and their uses, petersons field guides: edible wild plants, edible wild plants a north american field guide, Manual of the vascular flora of the carolinas, guide to wildflowers of south carolina, identifying and harvesting edible and medicinal plants of the wild (and not so wild) places.

Danielle is reading/has recently read: the continuum concept, where there is no doctor, where there is no dentist, diaper free, a language older than words, culture of make believe, various field guides, cookbooks...
