Looking to see the world, run the world (by foot, that is!) and still keep my own roof over my head...and share that roof with others.

ABOUT ME

I am a single mom, looking to continue a travel lifestyle that is a bit more low-key than my previous experiences, one that brings me closer to the "real experience" than what the Ritz has to offer.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to make a difference little by little, day by day, in the lives of others and the environment in which I live. I do this more by random acts of kindness and volunteering than anything, whether it be donating what I am able to a cause, giving time at an aid station, coaching or improving a trail. And...God is Good!

I am passionate about trail running, X-C skiing & snowshoeing, hiking, the woods, the rugged coast, and beauty this planet provides in its many forms. Play also includes cooking, reading, people-watching, travel & making the most out of everything I do and everywhere I go.

Most any kind of music from Pat Methany to Bob Marley, to Dave Matthews and Bach - I deeply enjoy music. Books that intrigue me: The Secret Life of Bees, Into the Wild, Memoirs of a Geisha, Before You Know Kindness, & Spirituality From the Celtic World.

Crossed the start line at the Western States Endurance Run, which I didn't complete for medical reasons, but it gave me the knowledge that I can do anything I put my mind to, so long as my body can follow.

I know the trails of the area in which I live very well, and can share that knowledge & my enthusiasm with others. I really enjoy cooking, good wine, good books & travel. I love to exchange thoughts and ideas in those areas.
