ABOUT ME

I am a free spirited, earthy girl. Very goofy at times and I love to laugh. I love the outdoors, gardening, animals, photography, music and dance. i dance with words and music and silence. I love to drink good beer and wine and tea and coffee, and to eat delicious yummy foods of all kinds. I have traveled to 13 different countries and can't wait to explore more. I love to read and write. Singing brings me joy although my singing doesn't always bring joy to others. I like to make homemade gifts for people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't been active in hosting in the last couple of years due to housemates not being down with it. I currently have no housemates so I am free to host away again!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have now hosted a few people but only for very short intervals. I am eager to host someone longer or be hosted and get to really know new people.

MOVIES: the lord of the rings trilogy, star wars, the princess bride, spaceballs, when harry met sally, foreign films, historical films and

books, poetry, i read ALOT. Some recent faves: The Thornbirds, Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand, 100 years of solitude, I love reading travel books by people like Bill Bryson and Paul Theroux.
Music: I love almost everything except gansta rap and most country music. Jazz (old and new) jam bands, the grateful dead, gov't mule, string cheese incident, the new deal, keller williams, AOD, iron and wine, regina spektor, evanescence, JT, christina aguilera, l david grey, buddha bar, classical music, oprah..the list could go on forever. a little eclectic.

I have been to 13 different countries and plan to add a lot more to that number. One of my favorite trips was to Costa Rica where I learned all about fair trade coffee farms, and stayed with a farming family in the mountains for a few days.
