About Me

CURRENT MISSION

In order to enjoy the flavor of life, take BIG bites!

ABOUT ME

Here I am, a happy, well-adjusted guy enjoying life on my simple fifty-acre farm which I share with my Border Collie, Sultan. Every day is spectacular in it's own right. I've come to realize that happiness is not a state of mind but, rather, a moral and ethical issue. In short, happiness is the sole result of doing good for others. I attempt to achieve this simple but profound objective every day no matter how big or how small.

PHILOSOPHY

Greed is the only refuge of the uninspired. Therefore, I try to live my life with enthusiasm and purpose without holding anyone else responsible for my joys or sorrows, losses or gains.
I hope to leave a legacy of decency and trustworthiness to those who know and love me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My volunteer experiences with the Pittsburgh Council for International Visitors (PCIV) has been one of the most rewarding things I've done. I still maintain contact with hosted guests from Ukraine and Argentina who remain wonderful friends. My years living in New Zealand and Istanbul, Turkey enabled me to host many of my travelling addicted friends from the USA and UK.

Interests

Food!!!!!! Oh, did I say food? I mean, I love ALL types of food and enjoy cooking.
I'm an avid outdoorsman and enjoy great conversation, as well.
Wine, wine, and more wine!!!!!
