So far, i've been spreading the word about CS to my friends and family members.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my first CS experience this past October (2007), and it was a very positive one!

Interests

I love reading (generally entertaining novels, although i enjoy a wide variety of genres); people-watching can keep me busy for quite a while; i've been playing soccer since i was 9, but haven't been on an organized team for a few months and i really miss it; i have some creative tendencies which usually manifest themselves as doodles, sketches, or time-consuming collages; my favorite season is winter, but i feel most alive when the seasons are changing and transitioning from one, into another; that being said, i love playing in the snow (i used to ski, but now i have regressed to sledding and snow angels); as cliched as this sounds, i really do have a good time taking long walks...anywhere

Books: there are so many to choose from, i really just love to read, and i get so unhappy during the semester when i don't have the free time to read anything other than text books!
I do love: Gone with the Wind, Trinity, Pride and Prejudice, Lioness Quartet series (they have been my favorites - my comfort series - since I was about...10 years old), and so far Jodi Picoult has never failed to pique my interest with one of her controversial topics...

Music:
i consider myself pretty open to anything, although i definitely have my reservations about country music. i can't help it, it is just too twangy and melodramatic for me.
Some artists/groups that i like to listen to: sarah mclachlan, jack johnson, damien rice, live, alicia keys, johnny cash, norah jones, pink floyd, dido, colbie caillat, catherine feeny, coldplay, counting crows, the eagles, ryan cabrera, muse, tool, pat benatar, heart, red hot chili peppers, santana, and the list goes on...
