ABOUT ME

I'm a little (well, maybe big) ball of sunshine... meaning I may be the most ridiculously optimistic person EVER...

I believe a smile works wonders in all sorts of situations. All you have to do is smile, people will usually like you.

I love: Listening to music. Dancing. Driving. Going to the theater. Making and seeing art. A good bottle of wine, or a not so good bottle of wine with a good friend. Taking photographs. Spending the day/night at the beach. Playing the piano. Rocking out in my car. Airports, airplanes-and the places they take me. Going to concerts. A cold beer. Planning trips-then going on them. The color purple. Having conversations, sometimes deep and philosophical... usually not so much. A long, yummy meal. Coffee, preferably with company. Reading. Pretending I can sing. Meeting people from all over the world.

PHILOSOPHY

OK I don't really know if this counts as philosophy.. but here are some things about how I live my life:

AND

I don't believe in living your life unless you are happy. With lives as short as ours, you have to just be yourself, do what you love, spend time with people you enjoy, don't waste your time, don't let what you do be meaningless, hurtful or boring...always move forward...

well.. as a musician with musician parents, music has always been a huge part of my life. I'm a rocker at heart, but will listen to and appreciate almost anything...

Movies: there are far too many to name... how can one pick a favorite? I love: Life As A House, The Terminal, 300, The Red Violen, Waking Ned Devine, Brokedown Palace, blood diamond.... but so many others too!

Books: OBSESSED with the Outlander series, cheesy I know. loved The Historian and Pillars Of The Earth may be the best book I've ever read.... currently reading a lot of books about Russia

too many.. and to me, it's the little things.. the moments that freeze time, that you can look back on and see that life is truly amazing.
