ABOUT ME

I am currently on my next adventure! I will be travelling across Canada from east to west with a two year working visa to help me on my way. I haven't used couchsurfing in a long time, mostly because I am not good at planning ahead when I travel, but I have had some wonderful experiences with couchsurfing in the past and thought what better place to get back into it than with the notoriously lovely people of Canada!

Interests

I love music (I travel everywhere with my ukulele), cooking, keeping up with world news and current events, making new things, lovingly restoring old things, learning about other cultures and ways of life and helping others whenever possible. I am currently learning Spanish (I want to travel through South and Central America eventually) and would love to have someone to practice with! I am also very interested in learning anything you can teach me about sustainable living and or volunteering.

Teach, Learn, Share

Although couhsurfing is obviously a great way to travel further on a limited budget, I am not here for a free ride! Taking without giving back (or paying it forward) goes against everything I believe in and is just not the way I live life, I am here for a collaborative sharing experience. I am more than happy to help out with basically anything, and all the better if I can learn something new in the process. I am looking for people with which to share experiences, trade skills and have long conversations about life and the universe. Basically, I want to learn anything you know that I don't. Also, I love to cook (people tell me I'm pretty good) and I'm not half bad at playing the ukulele.
