About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find how to manage my life

ABOUT ME

Maybe my relatives know me better than me, but I'm going to try to describe me .So I think I am sweet (even though I can be bad-tempered sometimes), I am tactful, discreet, quiet, I don't do excess, I always take my time to do everything, I don't stress out. That's probably the first impression that you will feel. Don't worry I am serious but I enjoy to have fun, parties, to chat,to play, to spend time with friends and my family, to meet people... Sometimes I need to be alone, mostly to think, but also to dream, to observe, to profit quietness. Or else I like to discover other culture, to learn by others, by their experience. And I love that I can trust strangers.

PHILOSOPHY

To succeed my life without running over others. I don't like competition and the idea that we have to fight all the time to be the best. That's the main idea of succeeding, not mine. I prefer exchange and solidarity, that's the way to well-being that we are looking for. Like others rather than money. And if I can't help others, I try not to hurt them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As I live at my parent's, I prefer not to offer couch, since often they don't share my ideas. Maybe when I have several experiences of couchsurfing they'll agree. Moreover my village is quite isolated, it would be necessary to come on purpose, but why not. So I'll lend a couch when I have my home. Waiting this, I hope to find couchsurfers to receive me and to enjoy our meeting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had 3 real experiences of hosting, when I was student. First, 2 friends who needed a bed, during two months each. I lived with my brother in Dijon and we had a bed available. Then, when I studied in Lyon, I had housed a friend some days each week in my studio, thus she didn't need flat. She sleept on my couch!Since the end of my studies, I have lived with my parents, but when I travel in France, I often borrow the couch of my friends!

Interests

I'm interested in ecology. It's my main subject of information. I like travel of course, even if I don't move often. I'm fond of music and cinema but also many cultural events. I don't make sport except walking. Besides I love cats.

Music, Movies, and Books

I mostly like world music but I'm curious in all the kinds of music (jazz, pop, rock, electro swing...)I prefer art films, I love watching a foreign movie in original version even if I don't know the language, for example listening Chinese put you in the atmosphere.Unfortunately I don't read enough so when I do I choose classics or I let my friends adivising me. The last book which struck me was "Baking in Kigali", easy to read in English, moving, deep and clever.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To have been helped to find a lift by a tramp! I was searching for a solution to join the harbour from the train station in Caen, knowing that because of the snow there were no buses. I just spoke with him and gave him 1 euro so he suddenly hooked a girl and his father to convince them to give me a lift, giving the euro for the oil, and he finally succeeded. I would have never dared to try it, so I'm really grateful.
