ABOUT ME

We are travellers of 30 & 32 years old. We met together for the first time in Australia in 2006 and decided to travel together in New Zealand for another year.
We came back in France 6 years ago to work in the french Alps as Host and Chef chalet. We really much enjoyed the ski season.
For the last summers, we were in the french Pyrenees, doing the same kind of job, till the end of September. And since 5 years now, we are in Val d'Isere, French Alps, as Chalet Managers. If you like skiing, you are of course more than welcome ! The season is opening at the end of november till the end of April.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I (Aurel) have already done this experience in Canada. Then we have been hosted in Mauritius Island in november 2009 by 3 differents family/people, then in Guadeloupe and in Nepal; In 2012, we met different couchsurfers inJapan and everytime it was a fantastic experience! Now, everytime we can, we try to open our "house" to welcome people from every place...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving -- Dive with sharks all around me -- sailing in a 42feet boat and doing a 10days crossing between New Zealand and Tonga Island without seeing land -- Stopping in an island in the middle of nowhere and be the 1st one in 6months to meet local people-- Do some trekking and cross a pass at 5416m high !

Teach, Learn, Share

we are not fabulous cooks but... we can teach you some rudiments of the french cooking and cook you some nice meals!
