ABOUT ME

After living in Brazil I got curious to learn more about languages, people, the world. I spent 5 months working in Turkey.
I think I am rather calm and shy when meeting people first, but I love to make new friends.
I work for the exchange organisation YFU, organising reunions and courses for the students coming to Germany, what is a great opportunity to meet people from all over the world. I have coordinated a program called "study-buddy" at the university of Hannover, which helps foreign students when they arrive in Germany. Right now I am studying pedagogics and hope to work with young refugees.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meeting the people who live in the city or village I travel to, get to know their way of life and get a deeper insight in how things work there.

Interests

Lots! I like visually beautiful things like nature, photos, dance.
Adventures are great, also sports like swimming, horse riding, and especially Irish dance which I could do all day long.
I love music, mostly singing and playing guitar, when I have time I do some arts and handcraft like macramé.
I relax when reading or cooking and I am always curious about languages.

Music, Movies, and Books

'Without music, life would be a mistake.' I enjoy nearly all kind of music, most of all Rock and Brazilian Music.

I really liked the books by Khaled Hosseini (Kiterunner and A thousand splendid suns) and I love fantasy, science fiction and adventure books.

I watch Doctor Who series whenever I can!

I'm really interested in learning and teaching languages. But I like to learn anything, learning is always good. I can tell you about German and Brazilian culture and show you some nice recipes. I can also show you some Irish Dance or capoeira
