About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To throw caution to the wind by moving westweard in order to learn how to make wine
ABOUT ME
In 2010, I interned at an organic wine and fruit estate in Wellington, South Africa. While there, my eyes were opened to the many ways in which food and wine complement one another. Since returning to the United States in 2011, I have sought to remain at this beautiful intersection of food and wine by working for several local, family-owned restaurants. My most recent role has been that of Wine & Service Director for a restaurant in Indianapolis called Bluebeard. At the end of September 2014, I will be moving to Walla Walla in order to begin a winemaker's apprenticeship.
PHILOSOPHY
"Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of human freedoms -- to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way."
