I have a tendency to end up in ridiculous situations unintentionally. This is awesome because it makes exciting adventures.

PHILOSOPHY

You know when you didn't earn it, didn't deserve it, or maybe didn't even need it, but someone opened up to you just out of pure warm-hearted generosity and kindness? Maybe you prefer they don't go through the trouble, maybe you can pay them back, but how could you reject this amazing gift? This is the secret beauty of life, and we couchsurfers live it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Amazing surfing all over the place! The people I've met through CS have shown me so much more of the world and life than I could have ever possibly guessed. Growing up, my family often hosted guests ranging from friends to students, people on business, and one time an entire group of ballet dancers from Russia-- 12 people at once! I really enjoy hosting people and showing them cool secrets abut the place. Do you know where the black cat is? How about the man who tips his hat to everyone?

Local cuisine and activities. Spontaneous adventure. For example, you know how when you want to go on some kind of crazy adventure and nobody else wants to do it? I'll probably want to do it.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Most all. My most played music happens to be Radiohead, Bob Dylan, Beruit, Smashing Pumpkins, The Flaming Lips, Ben Harper, Sufjan Stevens, Fleet Foxes, and The Innocence Mission, but really every genre interests me. I love music. I am currently reading Sailing Around the World Alone by Joshua Slocum (it's a dream to do it someday). My favorite movie is Babe 2: Pig in the City.

I can teach you to become a dog whisperer. One time I was whispering to my roommate's puppy Lila and at first she just cocked her head and stared at me, but then she suddenly punched me in the eye with her paw and started running around the house like a maniac with her toy. I have since taught her to dance and fetch me beer from the refrigerator-- I have video proof!
