ABOUT ME

We're married-Laura and Keith-we're both in our mid-20's and have just departed from the magical town of Asheville in Western North Carolina. Keith is a phenomenal musician, reader, artist, dreamer, positive thinker, brother and soon to be uncle. Laura is a writer honing her craft, teacher, counselor, researcher, runner, and volunteer. We have an amazing Siberian Husky that we've left behind while we travel. Without him, Laura's heart is hurting desperately, so please don't hesitate to ask us to cuddle or take a walk with your four legged partner!

Test yourself,just when you think you don't or can't do, that's when you need to the most. It's beautiful to feel the human spirit grow!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We've been having an awesome experience through CS; loving all the meetings we've been to, treasuring the dinners and get togethers and finding the friendships to be powerful! We try to host as much as our schedules allow, give a first hand experience of our town and appreciate the lives and stories of others that stay. We're looking forward to adding tramping to our repertoire.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Friend's houses, after shows, on music tour and after gigs.
We have served as a haven for many to stay and have vicariously traveled all over the world through their experiences...we're ready to have our own!

Getting outdoors! Communion with others, listening to stories, seeing and listening to music, good food, wine, white chocolate, ice cream, travel, understanding that everything has something to teach.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Barbara Kingsolver, Tom Robbins, Jack Kerouac are some of our favorite authors. We pretty much have no discrimination with music-we're open to everything, but Michael Franti, Beck and the Dandy Warhols are on the radar right now. We love historical and social documentaries.

Don't look down on anyone unless you're helping them up.
If you have the hiccups and you apply pressure in the indentations behind your ears, supposedly they go away immediately...I'm dying to try it.
