ABOUT ME

Soooo.. I guess I'm the average British guy, who tries to do his best by everyone. My greatest hobby is people - I love being in international environments, and spending time learning about other people's cultures and lives.

A couple of personal weird abilities - I can make my tongue wider than my mouth, do 'Jack Nicholson eyebrows', wiggle either ear independantly, and juggle 5 balls. That'll get me a few jobs.. umm.. ya ;:o,

I love being in different cultures, and learning about that culture more through the people that I interact with than through old buildings and historical stuff. I love it when I'm stretched to communicate what I need to say in another language, and succeed (esp. Czech since it's so impossible!)

I love Italy, and planned to finish up in Prague to go and live there (but have taken a small(!) detour via Argentina). I can see that my ideal of prioritising friends and family over work and money could be more easily realised there. I love the atmosphere in Rome, and how people sit around in the piazzas together chatting and having a laugh, rather than going to a bar, getting wasted and in the end not being able to say anything.

I love cool sunsets, when the colours and cloud patterns force me stand and admire it. I love pretty scenery, and find it easier to appreciate than old cities and picturesque architecture.

I love the moment I figure out a new juggling move. I like breaking the seal on a new jar of coffee. My favourite munches are hot croissants with butter and raspberry jam, or pecan and maple danishes.

I love the feeling the second the wheels leave the ground on take off, and the plane feels free. I love looking out of the window on the plane, and seeing everything from a different perspective, where everything is indiscriminate and borderless, and one country could be another.

Lastly. if there's anything I could change on this earth, it would be the rampant injustice that exists here and the greed that creates it. Oh, that and perhaps my need to write so much in my profile :o)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've met a couple of people here in Prague for drinks, and stayed with some amazing people in Rome, Catania and Dusseldorf.

Interests

Always interested in people, hanging out and going out with friends, meeting new people, juggling, exploring places, playing djembe (drumming), dancing in clubs (to D+B esp at the moment) and DJing. Oh and obviously bubblewrap :o)
