About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Get a band together and get going.
ABOUT ME
Despite my physical age, I swear I have some mangled old soul. But I wouldn't want it any other way. I'm an American born Traveler of Irish-German descent.
I sing, write, and play the upright bass. I have been working especially hard for the past few years in an attempt to get a band together. A few have formed and dissolved. I relocate often and travel more.
I desire to make music as great as Tom Waits and to put on shows as exciting as Th' Legendary Shack Shakers.
I have a growing collection of tattoos; all of which have personal meaning. I intend on continuing my tattoo collection until I am covered or out of meaningful ideas.
I have an enormous love for languages and names. Sadly, I do not really know any other languages aside from English. I used to know German fairly well, but I haven't had the chance to speak it in over five years now and have discovered: I don't remember much.
PHILOSOPHY
"Too weird to live, too rare to die."
Believe.
Never stop questioning and always react.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I travel and when I can/actually have a home, I allow travelers to take shelter in my own home.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Well, I've surfed a good many homes that weren't my own while touring with various bands. I've also allowed various bands to use my place to crash.
However, I have yet to couch surf through this network.

Music, Movies, and Books
Tom Waits is my favourite musician. I am particularly fond of punk and psychobilly music, but do not limit myself. Other than that, there is simply too much music, cinema, and reading to list. Maybe we can talk about it in person some day.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While touring with one of my past bands, we ended up sleeping in a rug manufacturing warehouse that the venue promoter lived in. It was incredible. Crazy rugs and lots of vintage signs, machines, and furniture.
However, the best part: a 400 foot long by 50 foot tall wall of records, including some of the original Edison recordings.
We did not sleep that night.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have knowledge and enjoy constantly learning. Teach me something. Maybe I will then think of something to teach you.
