ABOUT ME

Well hello everyone!

A few lines to introduce me. The name is Dennis.
I am a friendly, easy going and relaxed person. Love having a laugh. It is really hard to get me angry, you will have to make an effort ;-) Always optimistic and positive-thinking. I love having people around me, the more the merrier.

In my free time I love to dine and drink with my friends. I love to go to the centre of Utrecht and sit on one of Utrecht beautiful terraces or to go out. Utrecht is a student city so there is always something to do. I love all sports and I play squash, which is great.

I was born 23 years ago in the beautiful province Friesland in the north of Holland, but lived near Utrecht most of my life. Moved to the city Utrecht when studying and now living on my own in a house with 7 other students.

I am at medschool, so that is quite busy, but still enough time on my hands to enjoy the good things of life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have just come back home after doing a three months trip in Asia. Meeting many new people, seeing new amazing things and learning new ways of looking at things. This is why I really like the idea of couchsurfing. If gives you an easy way of doing this all!

I have no experiences of my own yet, but a friend of mine said it was really nice way of meeting people and helping other travellers.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I am a big fan of all kinds of movies, some that I really like are Fight Club, Snatch Pulp Fiction and Shrek. Music thta I like is for example Coldplay, Muse, Snow patrol, Arctic Monkeys, Faithless and RHCP.
I love reading. Read all kinds of books, from Salman Rusdie till Dan Brown. Also like fantasy, love Terry Pratchett and JRR Tolkien.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

When writing this I just went to the Angkor Wat temple in Cambodia, which was amazing. I saw the sunrise and the tempel is magnificient. But the whole trip is great. Meeting so many new people and seeing new amazing things.
