I am a designer, a business woman, and a runner, Steve is a builder, production whizz and mountain biker.
Our kids (9 year old girl & 14 year old boy) are sporty and easy to laugh :-)

Entrepreneurs by profession, runners/riders by choice, all of us are optimistic by nature. We enjoy a good laugh are genuinely interested in others and love the outdoors.....

As an individual and as a family, we love to meet others that have a passion for travel, easy going singles, families or couples of any inclination.

Life is connection. Dividing time between Hong Kong and New Zealand I travel often for business toggling between countries whilst my husband (also my business partner) and two cool kids enjoy the green grass of our lifestyle block in Auckland New Zealand. Its always fantastic to meet new people - when we have time.

Working as an Artist/Art designer, I design and create artworks, sculptures and installations for clients across Asia and will spend the majority of my time in meetings or catching up with friends.

Anything that involves the outdoors I enjoy currently training for 160kms round Taupo race....

Discovering new places, good conversation, adventure races/training, movies, music and of course...travel are hobbies of the whole family. In New Zealand is our garden, our glasshouse and our home...always something to do we are active relaxers....

If it involves the outdoors, you can imagine we do it! Mountain biking, trail running, marathons (even ultra distance), triathlons, rock-climbing, road-biking, rollerblading, netball & soccer (Zara) rugby & skateboarding (Luca), the list goes on...

Good conversation, adventure races/training, movies, music and of course...travel. Then there is our garden, our glasshouse and our home...always something to do.

We really enjoy meeting different people and learning about different cultures - everyone has a story to tell.

Some of the people and places on our travels have been incredible experiences.... abseiling with our (then) 3 yr old in Thailand, overnight sleeper trains in India, experiencing the Holi festival in Varanasi with my family, hiking the Abel Tasman, the huge contrasts experienced in India, the challenge of creating a new life as a family in Hong Kong, hiking the great wall in China, the great experiences during endurance races, we really are so lucky! This is just the beginning...

Currently actively learning to read write and speak Mandarin, Jane speaks fluent German.
Mainly vegetarian cooking in our house we are happy to share recipes.... Artist studio has ceramic making facilities + painting for those interested.

We live on 5.5 acres lifestyle block with separate artist studio bordering suburbia just 5-7 mins drive from Browns Bay or 20mins drive from Auckland Central, relax in the garden, bike ride to the beach (20mins by bike) or walk in the bush. Property is best suited to those with a vehicle.

When you send through your request please let us know what is your favourite way to relax or favourite meal - this way we also learn who has read our whole profile and not just sending out requests for a free bed. We are a very busy family and receive SO many requests for a free bed we open our home only to those people that are genuine in sharing the travel experience :-)
