About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to get by while having fun

ABOUT ME

Born and raised in France, i moved to NY with my mom and brothers when i was 9. We all live together in the coolest house with ample room and a vacant couch or two. I'm the sous-chef at a restaurant in Huntington village called 34 New Street which I've been working at for over 4 years. I love my job and everyone i work with (almost everyone) especially my boss, the executive chef, Richard. He's one of my best friends far before being my boss. And I'm very good at what i do, unfortunately my job comes with late hours and work all weekend. But i still manage to make some 'me' time. I dont like to be alone so i spend most of my free time with my friends and my brother Sacha. Everyone loves our house so we usually hang out here. We are very hospitable people and are lucky enough to attract the coolest, funnest, craziest, weirdest people.

PHILOSOPHY

i dont know if there is a god but there is certainly karma in the world. what goes around comes around. I might not be the most wholesome and innocent person but i have a good head on my shoulders and i great heart. You cant worry about every little thing you do but the big things will make a difference in your future.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i plan on accepting as many surfers to my couch as possible as well as making their stay a pleasant and memorable one. I speak English primarily, and although i've lost my fluency in French i still speak it well. I am also in the process of learning Spanish so as to accommodate a wider range of travelers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Ive stayed on a few couches across the US and have had a few surfers stay with me including 2 very cool italian dudes. Never had a bad experience. In my book, if you're part of CS then you must be alright.

Interests

I got into cooking because i have always had an interest in the culinary field. Before i knew it my hobby became my career. I love music, many different types. I wont say all because there is music out there i dont like. I have a little side business which takes up a lot of my free time as well. And if I'm watching TV, Adult Swim is on cause i mostly just watch late night cartoons.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i threw together a mock wedding in my backyard. in less then 24 hours i turned my backyard into a ceremony/reception area. it was amazing, everything went off without a hitch. i cooked the food myself with some help from my man Nelly which i had bought from my restaurant, borrowed chairs and tables from all my friends, had buddies helping clearing out my yard and helping to set up, bought her a dress and my suite from a thrift store but you couldnt tell (she looked amazing, see pics), got rings, made invites, got my friend Jim to be the priest, got a keg of course, my friends were there, my mom, her host family, her friends... it was like a dream, i couldn't have asked for a better time.
